iOS 17+ resulting in duplicate notifications

iOS devices that have updated to iOS 17+ may notice a bug that results in duplicate push notifications. We are aware of this issue and are working with Apple to find a solution.

We are still investigating on the root cause of this issue in collaboration with Apple.

Please note that only iOS devices that have updated to iOS 17+ may periodically experience this bug, resulting in a single push notification displaying multiple times in their notification center.

The root cause of this issue has been found in the latest versions of iOS. Apple is currently working on a fix that will be included in an upcoming iOS update.

We will update our Status page as we receive any additional information from Apple on the fix.

Apple has informed us that they are testing a fix to this issue in the latest iOS 17.3 beta. We will continue to update our status page as more details are provided.

Between about 2:18 PM Pacific and 3:18 PM Pacific, customers attempting to use our web dashboard via go.urbanairship.com or APIs behind .urbanairship.com may have encountered intermittent 5XX errors. The web dashboard behind go.airship.com was not affected.
